From Arizona to Texas to New Mexico, Illinois,
Minnesota (Missy Hueling teaches in MN and Iowa),
St. George, UT, Las Vegas, Lancaster, CA; San Luis
Obispo, CA; Linda teaches her fabulous fuax for boring
walls!!This class has been known as A Fast and Easy Twist on Walls.
Linda began teaching what she had been doing for years
previously, in January, 2002. She and her husband,
Craig, travel and teach "How-to" seminars for busy
people. See her husband's website for his instant
piano classes and instant guitar classes. www.craigsinstantpiano.comThe classes Linda teaches are 2 1/2 hours long. The
typical class is the introductory class on how to
twist the double roller, how to pick the paints, how
to incorporate and make your own glaze for softer looks.Eighty percent of the "Part 1" class is demonstration
and 20 percent is hands-on. The student would be advised to bring a paint shirt.Part 2 of her instruction only takes place on a Saturday. This is optional to stay and an incentive is
that the community program usually discounts the two
classes if taken together the same day.The second class is 80 percent hands-on and 20 percent
demonstration. This class continues from the first class and lets you experience what was taught in the first class. So, you come away with sample boards of
"faux tile", "weathered looks", tissue rocks, and one
of their choice to remember. Linda demonstrates how to
make faux bricks - a hot item under countertops or for
that "breakaway brick" look in old world looks. -
